Our sector contributes $15.5 billion in added value to the Australian economy, supporting 5,700 spirits manufacturing jobs, and 100,000 more throughout our supply chain.
The Australian Distillers Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Spirits & Cocktails Australia in August 2021.
The Australian Distillers Association is the peak industry body for craft distillers, while SCA is the peak industry body representing the major spirits manufacturers.
Our two associations have a shared vision of promoting a safe and vibrant spirits sector, which reflects Australia’s mature drinking culture and creates opportunities for sustainable growth and economic development.
The MOU reflects these shared goals, while maintaining the independence of both organisations.
The Australian Distillers Association is a member of SCA, and vice versa. The two associations remain subject to direction and governance by their individual boards.
